Unpacking global issues for global audiences through speaking engagements

So much is happening in the world, chances are you’ve heard of The Diplomat’s Cabinet through public speaking engagements. Recent public speaking engagements included invitations to:

  • moderate the 2024 GLOBSEC Forum panel on the security context in the Mediterranean and Middle East;

  • analyse geopolitics and international security issues (NATO, Ukraine, Gaza) live on CNN Portugal and RTP (Portugal’s public service broadcaster);

  • act as master’s of ceremonies at the 46th NATO Committee on Gender Perspectives annual conference;

  • debate the role of young people in peace processes at the G7+;

  • give a keynote speech on gender in diplomacy and defence policy in the Portuguese Navy;

  • participate in a high level panel discussion on the occasion of the official launch of the Ministry of Defence's Equality Plan in 2022.
